October is just around the corner...
Which means it is about time to start seeing these in your

I love a PUMPKIN PATCH...
Don't you?
Don't you?
I also love seeing a CORN MAZE...
although I've never actually been through one.
I may have to gather up my niece and nephew
and see if they will go through the one in their
neighborhood
with me.
Sounds fun, huh?
Each year we carve a pumpkin...
It's the great TRADITION, Charlie Brown!
It is really fun to look back over the previous year's pictures
and see how they've changed
and what we were doing from year to year.
Do you think they'll ever outgrow
pumpkin carvin'
with Mimi?
Nah, surely not!

You've gotta go through a corn maze at least once. They are too much fun and add to the whole Fall/Halloween feeling. Sure hope the kids never out grow carving pumpkins... it's soo much fun!
I don't believe we kept pictures of our pumpkin carving - we were sooo bad at it. Just ask Cody & Haley. Even with the official knife, it came out looking terrible. We just appreciated the neighbors'.
Oh, no...we NEVAH outgrow carving pumpkins....and, you MUST visit a corn maze. They are fabulous and Lubbock has a great one. In fact, Stacy's Brynna will have her bd party there on the 11th..guess the twins will be there, too.

I'm nearly 40 and carving pumpkins is one of my favorite things to do during my favorite season. The best part is the by-product of the carving....baked pumpkin seeds. YUM-O! The Fall is the pre-cursor to the holiday season and the sights, sounds and smells of it all. Thanks for letting me take a walk back through memory lane.
Autumn is my favorite time of the year, better than Christmas!! It's a tie for the kiddos!!
I'm taking my Girl Scout troop to a corn maze this Saturday! Can't wait, never been to one before!
